ABOUT PATCHETT DESIGN GROUP
Patchett Design Group (PDG) is a Las Vegas civil engineering firm built around one idea: early decisions shape outcomes. We support land development and public infrastructure projects where water resources work directly affects permitting, schedule certainty, construction risk, and long term performance.
Our culture is simple: high standards and low ego. We communicate clearly, take ownership, and do what we say we will do.
Position Purpose
The Project Engineer is a key delivery role at PDG. You will own civil design work that has real downstream consequences: grading strategy, drainage concepts, utility layouts, plan quality, and the coordination required to get projects through agency review and into construction.
This is not a “task list” role. You will be expected to think ahead, surface risk early, and take responsibility for the decisions you help shape.

- Civil design for land development projects: grading, drainage, utilities, roadway/access, and plan set execution
- Clear calculations and exhibits that support decisions and agency review
- Plan quality: clarity, constructability, and completeness
- Coordination with PMs, clients, and consultants so issues do not go late quietly
- Responsiveness during permitting and construction support when questions come up
